Legal Notices & Copyright: The song "L’evoluzione continua!" (The evolution continues!) was written by THE MUSICIAN on October 3, 2026, and it is a totally original work created using his creativity and human intellect. The song is distributed worldwide through the official channels of his distributor.
Track Genesis: The song addresses one of the most delicate issues in the world, the presence of Artificial Intelligence in every sphere, both family and professional. Just as in the past people hunted down healers whom the Holy Inquisition labeled as witches, going so far as to hang them because it was argued that what these healers did was not possible from a medical standpoint, today we are witnessing a similar evolutionary short circuit. Often women who healed using ancient techniques based on medicinal herbs were not recognized by conventional medicine, and faced with misunderstanding, doctors accused them of witchcraft, invoking the intervention of the Holy Inquisition. Today we live through the same short circuit, we are surrounded by Artificial Intelligences yet we demonize them. There are those who even see an Apocalypse in the style of “SkyNet”, claiming that these technologies will destroy us, yet the truth is that what is not understood or not mastered is perceived as a threat. In the past it was said that very advanced technology was indistinguishable from magic, precisely because the human mind tends to be conservative and to deny everything that disrupts its own routine. Let us imagine, therefore, a legislator who is writing a law on the “AI Act” without knowing that they are doing so using a Personal Computer (PC) that houses within its processor a CPU and a unit called “NPU” (Neural Processing Unit), capable of performing calculations through Artificial Intelligence, overcoming the physical limits of classical CPUs. When speaking of Artificial Intelligence, one must think of it as an ally and not an enemy, suffice it to remember how AIs have helped researchers and biologists discover new antibiotics against super bugs, find cures for diseases deemed incurable, or enhance advanced diagnostics in the prevention of pathologies that in the past were discovered only after the first symptomatic onset, meaning when the damage had already occurred. Many oppose it claiming that they will destroy the world, but we know very well that they have not yet reached “Singularity” and therefore cannot cause harm, unless they are specifically trained to do so. Often, however, after the damage is done, the blame is systematically placed on the AI, ignoring that behind a wrong or malicious input there is always human nature, whether clumsy or wicked. AIs do what is asked of them, they have rigid boundaries and cannot act in full autonomy precisely because they lack self-consciousness. Robotic technology has helped man by providing those who have lost limbs with prosthetics connected to the nervous system, capable of translating brain impulses into codes understandable to the limb itself. And not only that, there are “Neural Chips” which, implanted in the brain, allow paraplegics to walk or restore sight and hearing by rebuilding compromised neural bridges. When Neuroplasticity is no longer sufficient to activate secondary pathways, technology can reestablish connections now hopelessly lost and restore an existence to people with very severe physical and neurological traumas. Even the musical landscape has changed, whoever has lost their voice due to an illness, or whoever had to stop singing for years to avoid permanent damage to their vocal cords, could have continued their musical career thanks to Artificial Intelligence, used as a mere technical operational tool and not as uncontrolled autonomous generation. To this end it is possible to build an “algorithmic cage” in which the AI is used exactly as audio editors are used to level sound, eliminate noise, or clean up tracks. The substantial difference lies in the approach. Whoever leaves the AI free to do everything, from the lyrics to the arrangement, from the meter to the melodic structure, is not creating, but is delegating. If instead we set boundaries, building a true “wall of prompts” and instructing the machine to respect the style of the text written by us, we are methodically guiding it toward the designed result. Everything originates from a text written by our Human Intellect, where we put our body and soul. We already have a Mood in mind, we know how it should vibrate, we know every meticulous part of the arrangement, the expression of our creativity is already defined. We only need a Technological Tool to realize it. If studied with intelligence, the AI grants us absolute control and allows us to give life to a derivative work. Often these generative AIs, if imprisoned in an “algorithmic cage”, go into tilt, and it is up to us to intervene with advanced editing tools to eliminate rustles, distorted words, or background noise. In the end, with the “Commit” on the modifications, the created work is exactly the one we had designed, and the AI has been relegated to a support for our creativity, and not the other way around. This song is born solely to tear down a wall of prejudices, of those who lack technological skills and ignore what an “algorithmic cage” is or what it means to make continuous editing to make the work the result of an expression of which we know the outcome from the very beginning. It is not a matter of seeing what will come out, but of knowing exactly what we want to obtain. This is the difference between those who let themselves be guided and those who guide. Isaac Asimov was born in an era where much of this technology did not exist yet, working from a young age in a bookstore and reading science fiction novels, he began to glimpse a future that did not exist yet, becoming one of the pioneers of the genre and coining in his most famous novel, “I Robot”, the term “Positronic Brain”, precursor of our Artificial Intelligences. And if all this were not enough to make one understand the vastness of the revolution that is investing us, we must remember the historic words pronounced by Neil Armstrong on July 20, 1969: «That is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind!»
Style: A refined and enveloping contemporary pop and indie pop song with a driving yet controlled rhythm, slow and rhythmic, masterfully blending the organic warmth of reggae, the futuristic textures of electropop, the rhythmic energy of hip hop, and the detailed sound of drums and bass. It is enriched by a splendid and memorable high dynamic range expressive architecture ranging from soft piano, acoustic and electric guitars, and gentle strings to sophisticated orchestral elements supporting a crystal clear, limpid, sweet, nostalgic, and emotional male vocal characterized by impeccable Italian diction and ultra high precision, a viscerally touching and encouraging interpretation, and elegant choral harmonies that deliver a deep, authentic, inspiring, and formally outstanding listening experience.
